A 10-year-old boy’s quiet plea—‘Can I please have some food?’—still echoes in our hearts. It ignited Food4Kids Ontario a decade ago, and his story remains in our soul.

After years of fighting child hunger across Ontario, Food4Kids Ontario will be concluding its provincial operations.

 

This is a purposeful transition one that strengthens our frontline impact. By dissolving administrative layers, more support will flow directly to our local Chapters, who meet hunger where it lives: in empty lunch bags, in worried parents, and in children who sometimes go without.

Your generosity has fed 4,000+ children weekly across Ontario, but the need persists. Empowering our Chapters to lead independently ensures more food reaches more tables, faster. The same dedicated teams in Halton, Hamilton, Mississauga, Muskoka, Niagara, and Toronto will carry this torch forward with urgency and love.
